David’s original bio was “He is just a chunk of coal but he will be a diamond someday!”   

 David is originally from Massachusetts. Has lived in Oregon where he worked as a fire jumper and attended Physical Therapy school. He is married and has 2 grown children and 2 grandchildren. David and the Fehans have been friends since Leslie and David’s wife attended graduate school together in the 1980’s. The families have camped and hiked together over the years. David has experience working with other nonprofits and is excited to bring his knowledge and experience to Somebody’s Sunshine to encourage students to connect with the larger world.
